Pastor Donald "Doc" Adkins and his wife Sarah began their ministry here on March 1, 2011.  He looks forward to a bright future here praising God and preaching His Word.   They have two daughters.  Amy is married and living in Cincinnati and Allison is a school teacher finishing up her Master's Degree at Marshall University while living in Pineville.

 Kelli holds a masters degree in education & is a teacher at Woodrow Wilson High School. Kelli has been enlisted to lead the education of current youth members & to spearhead anticipated growth of the Youth Department. Special events are regularly attended in the area & mission trips will become a regular part of the program. There has been steady growth of the youth department since Kelly has arrived. She has an abundance of energy & a contagious positive attitude. Kelli has many plans for the youth department & has assisted in small group ministries in the church including the drama small group & has created a youth praise team that performs on a regular basis during worship services.

Administrative Assistant - Debbie Vanaman- Debbie has been the secretary at First Baptist Church for four years.   She also sings in the church choir.   She has four children, one grandson and a doxie named Minnie.
